I love the chaga cream!!

The Chaga cream is my go-to moisturizer. I love the Copper one too, but it can feel a bit heavy and oily at times, so I tend to reach for the Chaga more often — it’s so smooth, lightweight, and absorbs beautifully. Meet the founder

I’m Naomi Kurata, a holistic esthetician passionate about helping others achieve clear, healthy skin. My own journey began with persistent acne that followed me from middle school through college. After years of trying treatments that only left my skin more inflamed, I turned to holistic skincare and began to understand the deep connection between skin health, diet, and lifestyle.

The real shift happened during my annual trips to Japan, where I would stay with my grandmother. Within weeks, my skin would calm and clear; not just because of the slower pace or nourishing meals, but because of the simple, soothing products she used and shared with me. These weren’t trendy or harsh. They were gentle, effective, and designed to support the skin’s natural barrier. In contrast, I had grown up with American products that often felt aggressive and left my skin sensitized and depleted.

In 2017, I became a licensed esthetician to help others move beyond quick fixes and treat the root causes of their skin concerns. I created Mikura to reflect what truly made a difference in my own healing: calming, multifunctional formulas designed to restore balance and protect even the most sensitive skin.
